My piece “In The Matter of Jane Doe-1974” is included in Feminism 250: Woman Made America, a group exhibition at Woman Made Gallery in Chicago, featuring work by 52 women and nonbinary artists across a range of mediums.
Anchored in America 250, the nationwide commemoration of the United States’ 250th anniversary, Feminism 250 looks back at 250 years of feminist thought and action, from early demands for basic rights to today’s movements for gender justice, and asks how that history can inform the feminist futures still being built. Selected from an open call of more than 700 submissions, the works on view engage themes including erasure and visibility, reclamation of authorship and narrative power, intersectional experience, art as resistance, and personal narratives that speak to broader struggles for equity and representation.
The exhibition runs August 29 through September 26, 2026, at Woman Made Gallery, 1332 S. Halsted St., Chicago.
Opening Reception: Saturday, August 29, 4 to 7pm
Artist Walkthrough and Closing: Saturday, September 26, 2 to 4pm
Both events are free and open to the public.
