“Self-portrait with Late Mother 2” Included in Brave Wave Exhibition

My photograph “Self-portrait with Late Mother 2” has been selected for Brave Wave, an online group exhibition running July 3 through 31, 2026.

Brave Wave brings together artists from different backgrounds and disciplines around a shared theme: the courage to create. The exhibition centers work marked by honesty, vulnerability, personal vision, or a willingness to take creative risks, work that steps into uncertainty rather than aiming for polish. Some pieces challenge convention, others turn inward, but each one is, in the words of the exhibition, a brave wave toward expression, connection, and discovery.

“Shelf-portrait with Late Mother 2” is part of a larger group of works by over thirty artists, including Natalia Wilkinson, Nicolet Drop, Rose Simmons, Cynthia Yatchman, and many others. See the artwork here.
